Riyadh, Abou Bakr Assidiq Bridge

Project Description
Abou Bakr Assidiq Bridge is a fly-over construction that aims at providing more fluidity to the city traffic, ensuring a fast access to the Riyadh City Center and decongesting the presently overloaded Northern Ring Road. The side elevations of the 880m long flyover are designed with a rib cladding which allows for lighting elements to be integrated. Various design concepts were created showing an impressive effect while ensuring that the lighting is not used in an excessive manner. Mock-up tests were conducted at site with various samples.
